Weddings & Celebrations

The perfect setting for your eco-friendly barn wedding

Dreaming of a rustic, eco-friendly wedding? Enjoy exclusive use of our cosy Eco-Lodge, onsite bike trails, and 231 acres of woods, meadows and waterfalls. A barn, courtyard and natural surroundings give you the freedom to create your own unique celebration—all while supporting an award-winning environmental community.

A Rustic Escape Made for You

Slow down, unwind, and enjoy extra time with everyone you love. At the Croft, your wedding can include pre-wedding walks or rides, group activities, and late-night moments together with guests staying onsite. Our 60-bed Eco-Lodge, courtyard, heated barn, Nordic Katas, and woodland camping make it easy to celebrate for a day—or a whole weekend.

Our Sustainability Promise

We’re part of a collaborative group of nature-focused enterprises that inspire people to reconnect with the outdoors. These include Tomnah’a, our fruit, vegetable, and flower farm; the Bushcraft Bairns forest nursery; the Gorse Café; some of Scotland’s highest-rated mountain bike trails and bike shop; Nordic kata tents; natural-style camping areas; and the Croft’s own farm shop. Together, these ventures help create a place where nature, people, and celebration thrive side by side.

Make It Uniquely Yours

Your wedding should feel like you — personal, joyful, and completely true to your style. “Do It Your Way” means you choose the atmosphere, the timings (or keep it totally relaxed), the décor, the food, and all the fun moments in between.

With that freedom, we simply ask you and your guests to be thoughtful and respectful of the space, the community around us, and the land you’re sharing for the celebrations.

Eco-Friendly, Carbon Neutral Weddings

At Sookoon Resources , all the electricity used for weddings comes from renewable sources, much of it generated by our onsite solar panels—so your celebration can be truly Net Zero. The Croft has maintained carbon neutrality since 2020. Any remaining emissions, such as travel, are offset by expanding permanent native tree cover on the farm.
