A hardy tight clumping ginger, great as a landscaping plant. Produces hanging flowers in Spring and Summer. Also makes a great pot plant on verandas and patios.
Typical height: 1.5 to 2.5m
Climate: Quite cold tolerant. Prefers Tropical or Subtropical climates, but will still grow well in Sydney, Melbourne, etc
Light conditions: Prefers part shade, but can tolerate full sun if kept moist.
Growth habit: Tight clumping, slightly weeping foliage
Growing conditions: Moist well drained soil, rich in organic matter
